EIGRP Stub Recieve Only Router


In EIGRP one of the options under the stub configuration command is receive-only. This is similar to RIP and passive interface where one side receive routes and doesn’t send any.

Configuration

1) Under the EIGRP process

R1(config)#router ei 100

R1(config-router)#eigrp stub receive-only

R1 receives routes but doesn’t send any to it’s neighbours.
